Sampling is the first step to understanding the market your product is endeavouring to address and I can’t think of anything more important than being in the shoes of your user/consumer. A product without an understanding of its market is as useful as a car without an engine.
“Sampling is important because until you’ve tried what’s out there, how do you know what suits you”
“In an extremely competitive marketplace, customers are often overwhelmed by ‘noise’ as brands compete for a share of voice. And it may often become difficult for them to discern between true value and what might be perceived as ‘marketing fluff’. In this scenario, I feel that sampling has become all the more important and vital, as it enables customers to make an informed choice through actual usage and comparison and discern what truly meets their expectations and requirements.”
“Sampling is undoubtedly one of the most effective mediums to build trust for your product. Especially when it comes to segments as personal as menstrual hygiene, where there is a very high level of stickiness with legacy brands and experimentation is low, I feel the right sampling can do wonders for brands to induce trials, get feedback, and have a great head start”
“Sampling is a great way to discover new products and brands. there is that comfort of getting to try something before, learning everything about it, and then actually committing to it once you like it. sampling is the start for something much more!”
